Something neat just landed in my Tumblr feed: a musical effort between a producer and anthropologists to effectively resurrect songs that haven't been played by anyone in thousands of years. Here's a link to the associated Soundcloud, where you'll get to hear songs that date back to Sumer's heyday, in Mesopotamia.
