What about China?

Sophia's neck of the woods (pun intended), this is where you should head for any meet-and-greet you'd like to partake in, as well for any discussion that isn't related to role-playing. Have fun, go crazy - but keep your nose clean.

It's sad, really. The world's biggest emerging world power is also the world's trash heap. Couple that with hardline Communist doctrine that more or less allows the government to keep its people compliant while accepting the rest of the world's monies. Seeing that, I'm not surprised to see that China's adamant about its own chunk of the Internet being censored.

"What do you mean your rivers are polluted, comrade Factory Worker? Oh please, that's just Imperialist drivel from people we both finance and depend on for our middle-class jobs! Here, let me ban a couple thousand I.P. ranges, so you won't need to see this pesky environmental coverage again... Okay, there we go! Now go back to your sympathizing blog, and be sure to write something nice about us!"
