Since Eireann originated from Ireland, I figure she brought the acorn that would eventually become the Centennial Tree with her. I believe the Quercus robur, the pedunculate oak, would probably be the species of tree that spawned Sophia, being larger than its non-nexus kin.

It's probably all nice and verdant in summertime and probably just this side of gloomy in winter.
