More brain nonsense!

Post by IamLEAM1983 »

While nosing around a super-wide search for anthro concept art on the Googs, I came across this guy:
One of the bears from Zootopia, methinks...

I thought of Lev, and realized he still might have Russian relatives floating around, maybe a few indirect descendants related to an uncle or aunt of his, from back he was a kid. It's not a strong genealogical link, but the idea is he'd have some parentage with some self-important blowhard from the American branch of the Russian mob. Lev tries as much as he can to ignore the asshat and to go about his business as a reformed villain and now solidly convinced altruist, teacher and protector of the people - but the problem is Asshole Grand-Cousin (who's probably called Dima) figures they're best buds and that hanging out is in order.

Dima wouldn't exactly be dumb, but he'd be one of those anthros with pretty solid predatory genes in them, the type who figures posturing gets rid of whatever it is money or authority can't handle. Unfortunately for him, he'd still be a guest on Weasel's turf, and would end up fucking a shipment of some kind pretty badly, as well as its delivery. Like any bully, he'd cave in when faced with something his polar bear mitts can't just flatten, only to latch onto his superhuman relative and foolishly assume their flimsy family ties count for something.

Add a few bigoted cops and a few Shieldies who can't figure out if Lev's taken the Red Scourge out of the mothballs, and you could get some sort of dramatic comedy setup for an old and reformed criminal having to choose between his rat-bastard of a relative or his recently espoused ideals. Either that, or just Lev being embarrassed by Dima in front of Holden Hall, forced to grit his teeth and try and make it nonverbally clear that he's not with this idiot, goddamnit!
