I figured that once Tom's club opens, Archie might ask one or more of the angel bouncers to intercede in his favor to Gabriel, see if he can't meet Anjali again.

Maybe her parents' souls were lost to the Others, leaving Gabriel to agree to transsubstantiate her soul into a physical body. Archie would earn himself an initially harmless ward and surrogate daughter, but puberty would make it clear that making a soul entirely physical and tangible comes with extra perks and drawbacks... Maybe she'd become a team member, once she'd turn eighteen.
