Having problems with Steam again...

Something tells me this is tied to certain deals and promotions. The entire Splinter Cell series is being practically tossed out the door at pretty solid rebates for the Weekend Deal, and the same symptoms are repeating. Steam says it has no connection to the Internet, trying to log in from the site itself goes nowhere because the auth process times out -

So, yeah. I figure the Steam user base is collectively pulling off an imitation of a Left 4 Dead mob. Guess I"m gaming off Steam for at least the next few hours.
